About this course

Spanning all phases of a project from concept through to close-out you can transfer to any industry from digital media to construction.

This entry-level course covers the critical phases of project management you’ll need to know from start to finish including setting timelines and targets, project costing and establishing budgets.

What you will need

For this course, you will need to have:

Access to a computer or tablet to use in class and at home

Access to a fast Internet connection

A Unique Student Identifier (USI)*

Entry requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age and have completed the equivalent of Year 12.
  • Have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old) or able to demonstrate competence through documented evidence of the following:
    • Educated for 5 years in an English speaking country; or
    • Completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO; or
    • Successful completion of an English Placement Test through our partner college, Universal English College (UEC)
  • Access to a laptop or tablet for home and classroom use with Microsoft Office software or equivalent

*Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL may be accepted.

A blended course which combines face to face and online learning and delivery.

Students who successfully complete this course will be issued with the AQF qualification (Australian Qualifications Framework) BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.

Students who partially complete this course (a minimum of one unit of competency) will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice qualification for the unit/s of competency successfully completed.
