Entry requirements

To enrol in this course, you must be 18 years or older. Other entry requirements include:

  • EAP 1 Level 1: IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent

If you do not have an IELTS score, you need to complete the Ambridge Institute Placement Test. This will determine your proficiency in English – and the right course and level for you.

Course levels

The course has two levels:

  • EAP 1 Level 1
  • EAP 2 Level 2

Most students spend around 12 weeks at each level. However, thanks to our flexible approach, if you learn quickly, you can move to the next level sooner.

How you will be assessed

Overall, there are 10 assessments and two essays for each course level.

However, we will also assess you through regular class tasks and assignments, such as oral presentations. That way, we can continually make sure your classes suit the pace and progress of your learning.

At Ambridge, we are all about flexibility and dedicated support.
